Why would a man shave his epic hair and beard?

So I've decided to shave my head to raise funds for Haiti! I've had long hair for 6 years and I love having long hair. It's been a huge part of my style and image. That being said, I want to give back and my goal is to raise $30,000.

I'll be accepting pledges and 100% of the funds will be going towards the Canadian Red Cross Haiti Relief Effort. The Canadian Government is matching pledges so this is a huge opportunity to make a difference together. Also, I will be donating my hair to Locks of Love. They are a non-profit organization that provide hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.
